THE OBJECTIVE

Online radio keeps track of everything we play. It uses the user’s information for recommending music that  are likely to enjoy & supports focused marketing that sends you advertisements for music you are likely to buy. Why waste scarce advertising dollars on items that customers are unlikely to purchase. Our objective is to propose an idea of a recommenders system that can efficiently recommend the user various Music Artists through advertisements that they would prefer to listen and are mostly likely to buy. While building the recommenders system it should be kept in mind that the taste might differ for male and female and also across the countries. In this project I will be using the Associations Rules Mining to understand if there is any rules by which the students are listening to the musics of various Artists.
